Courses

We offer five hours of classes, five days a week. Four hours are dedicated to one-on-one language study, in which our teachers assess the abilities, needs, and interests of their students and tailor lessons accordingly. The one-on-one classes are followed by an hour of cultural activities. This can include an array of different activities from learning the techniques involved in traditional weaving or cooking to conferences with local health professionals and tours of local educational facilities.

For students with little or no Spanish language background, our basic courses are designed to expand vocabulary, increase ease of verb conjugation, and introduce students to common expressions so as to strengthen verbal and written communication skills in real world settings.

For intermediate and advanced students, we offer more advanced vocabulary and grammar lessons, with focus on longer and more complex conversations and writing. We also offer the option of specialized courses, focused on vocabulary, expressions, and cultural practices within specific professions. Currently, the following options are available:

Spanish for Professionals
Spanish for Teachers and High School Students
Spanish for Activists
