Spanish For Environmentalists

The struggle to protect the environment in Latin America is at a critical stage. This course provides students with the vocabulary and effective communication skills for work in this area. The course readings deal with a range of environmental issues, strategies, and projects. Students will learn the Spanish necessary to understand, communicate, and to act.

Volunteer Opportunities

We can arrange for students to volunteer in the afternoons in one or more of a number of local environmental projects, such as reforestation, solar power and a school of the environment. We can also arrange for full time volunteer work either in Quetzaltenango or in other parts of Guatemala.
