Spanish For High School Students

The course aims to provide students with the opportunity to practice their Spanish so that the language becomes something of real interest and use to them. Encounters are arranged with students in local high schools in order to provide opportunities to practice the language and to get to know local teenagers. For teachers bringing groups of six students or more, we offer free specialized workshops aimed at helping teachers work more effectively with their Hispanic students. The workshops focus on socio-cultural issues, dealing with parents, writing letters or announcements in Spanish, inappropriate language and acts by students, and so on.

Volunteer Opportunities

Students can volunteer as teachers or assistants in El Nahual´s own projects.
