Spanish For Lawers and Legal Professionals

This course provides lawyers, law students, legal secretaries and other legal professionals the opportunity to develop the Spanish language skills necessary for dealing with Hispanic clients. The course includes legal terminology and effective ways to communicate on a variety of topics with clients (e.g soliciting information, explaining procedures, giving advice, understanding and explaining legal documents).

Volunteer Opportunities

El Nahual uses its proceeds to fund a free evening clinic in the school. Students can volunteer here. We can also place volunteers in a free legal clinic run by the Law Department of a local university. After the end of the course, there are also opportunities for full or part-time volunteer work with women´s and human rights groups.
