This week at El Nahual...last week at 27 Avenida?

This week marks the last that we´ll be working at the construction site of the new community center! Well, we think so, at least. J The construction hombres came over for lunch today, whipped up by Chef Pati, and went away stuffed. This weekend we´re going to haul our books, papers, computadoras, desks, chairs, you name it, over to the new location. Update your address books! As of March 8 we´ll be at 28 Avenida 0-64 interior, Zona 1, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.

Elsewhere in El Nahual Land, the niños have been getting a dose of the dramatic this week—theatre classes taught by our resident Italiana, the lovely Tania. We´re back at La Cuchilla and Llano del Pinal, playing the old standbys of Bingo and the good-morning ball-toss. Let´s hope no one gets injured (again) falling off their bike on the way to La Cuchilla! P.S. Speaking of bikes, if you are in Xela and have a spare afternoon to tune up some bicicletas, give us a shout. We´ve got a garage full of third-world bikes ready to be aired, patched, oiled, and otherwise made road-ready.

At community lunch this week we are making our favorite foods and saying good-bye, once and for all (we hope) to our current building. Who knows? Next week we just might be blogging from 28 Avenida.
